Jimbo, re: short puts on JDSU, I sold a small number of Jan240s for 30.25 each w/underlying at 238-ish (edit: actually, I forget where the stock was when I did this!; maybe a bit lower, like 232; I got confused, since I used the proceeds to buy a Jan150 call w/underlying at 238 later in the day). If put, basis will be at 210. I don't mind being put, and going forward, I may start selling ITM puts on weakness in underlying (say, Jan300s/310s on a retreat to 230; or perhaps be a bit cheekier and sell the 350s) in an effort to actually get put. I prefer to go out an extra month (in this case, to Jan) to get the meat of the premium, but this is a "work in progress" at this stage. Cheers, MM
