What's a computer? I thought we were already beyond that stage in this discussion, or at least attempting to be... Seriously tho, artificial intelligence comprising the owner's 'memes' embedded in everything they own? Why not. I'll leave you with that. Gotta run. Frank

Absolutely. Your Yahoo coffepot, when turned on:

- asks HomeGrocer.com when you last bought coffee
- tells ad banner providers that you are becoming more coffee-philic
- tells your PC that you are about to log into SI, so prefetch new messages
- tells your doctor that you are still caffeinated

Some of these requests profit by anticipation, some do not.
