Proxy statement, which I just received 10 minutes ago, says only March, 2000 for the Annual Meeting. Both the Notice and the Proposals call for Amendments to the Certificate of Incorporation to permit "1" an increase in authorized shares to 3,000,000,000 and "2" another amendment to effect a four for one split on December 30, 1999. So, that's what it will be assuming approval (g). Interesting few weeks coming up. Dr. J has beneficial ownership of just about $2.4 billion Q stock. He deserves it. Best, John

voop---According to proxy material received today(Saturday) the stockholders meeting to consider 4/1 stocksplit is scheduled for December 20,1999. Also concerns amendment to increase number of common shares from present 300,000,000 to 3,000,000,000.(b as in billion.) The informational states at the close of business November 17,199 164,977,995 shares were outstanding and entitled to vote, so you guys who own the other 995 get those proxies in. (ggg) Ken

I called qcom IR on Thursday to check out the date. They were somewhat evasive and said it would be in March. When I started to pin them down, I was told early March.

Does anyone else out there suspect a reason beyond booking a venue for the uncertainty??
