Lucius, did you read carefully the NTAP report posted here on Dec 1? EMC is already entering NAS space, and NTAP is already attempting SAN space.....and according to the Gilder Report, BRCD has recently partnered with Vixel to produce combined SAN//NAS configurations...so the fact that Ethernet can and will change the playing field is apparent......Can EMC get itself into a market with "the marquee player" for NAS and come out ahead? We all know how difficult it is for entrenched players to be spry.......EMC is big, but so is the market....Martin Thomas
