They refer to deer as "Rats with antlers" around these parts. The garage sale was a bit of a bust. It rained for the first time in 3 months this morning. THe paper listed our spot in the wrong area of town. We only made about 350. Hardly worth the effort. Right now some ladies are enjoying the "Take it..please!" sale that is going on. Many of the women send any and all clothes to Mexico to their families and friends. I was kind of sad watching some of our great memories drive off for $1 a piece. One lady came by for her best friend who's 15 year old daughter was at home with her second baby and no money for anything. Apparently one is not able to receive state aid at that age. 15 with 2 kids!! Sounds like momma dropped the ball somewhere. Momma's only 32. After she spent $10 I loaded up a couple bags with goods and said "Here!" GLad it's over. SAlvation army comes on Monday.
