Considering the company has about $3 per share in cash, it looks undervalued (blpg). But after looking more closely at the chart, it is hard to tell if the price is just staying in a base between 6 and 7 or if it will break out one way or another. The volume on the calls is too low for a good covered call candidate as it looks like investors have all but forgotten about this one. Rather than a covered call strategy on it, it looks more like a turnaround issue now that I look more closely. I may still apply wins to it and seee what happens. I like the fundamentals on it and notice that managemnent has been buying in this range with their own pocket money and that the company is repurchasing shares. They also just renewed a contract with bmy.
thanks for your input. I will let you all know how this one turns out.
Looks like someone agrees with me on my other holding, that being nmgc. I have 500 shares and no covered position and will most likely either sell or sell calls on monday or tuesday. I just read a good article in barrons on it. Should be good to break the resistance it has at 10. My average price is 9 9/16.
Just thought I would add one more play here for some sideshow puts on sunw, since a few follow it. The stock splits this week and statistically after a split a stock is weak for 2 to 5 days. I am looking at it and thinking of taking a position depending on how expensive the puts are.
again thanks for the input back on my pick of blpg. It is always good to have another's opinion and exchange ideas.
good luck all. Dec options expiration is coming!
