That's a pretty stupid statement Dan. Vitamins are a DIETARY supplement. It was only when vitamin manufacturers started to make homeopathic claims regarding the use of vitamins to treat or prevent certain illnesses that the vitamin industry got hammered by the FTC. For example, remember when they started claiming that vitamin C prevented colds? Clinical trials proved it did not.
