I forgot that they did...you're right. They did the same thing for their Q1 and then came along and beat their own expectations!!

Hopefully they do the same and crush this 70 cents estimate...

There are some software stocks that are still trading closer to the low end of the 52 week range while this tech boom has been going on so if you look forward to next 6-12 months, you can see why this stock is inching up and still has a ways to go...

Their last acquisition is out of the way, they have announceD the charges they will take (and admittedly pissed off some analysts because the numbers were a bit higher - to which I say big deal), they have said couple of qtrs out, the acquisition will be accretive, they are looking into more acquisItion, etc. etc.

I bought around 26-27 range, few weeks ago and expect to make at least a double if not more. The reason is Geac is a cash cow, something like Computer Associates in that they take over company and continue to milk the installed base..
They are probably now the largest canadian software company, although I have lost track of their revenue run-rate etc. and they still trade only in Canada so all in all in this market, you don't need too many reasonS to buy and hold... FWIW..
