Most of them were driven out and killed by the Children of Israel at God's command.. ( they compromised however and made covenants of peace with some and spared others ) I think today however if you ask how people understand the term anti-semetic they would agree it refers Jews Anti-semetic is to be against the Jews and lineage of the house of Israel who conquered that land under Joshua. The peoples who descended from the people who lived there when Christ was there. That is how I believe most people use the phrase. Not the Canaanite or the Hittites or sons of Ishmael.
