John,

Since Windows CE is stumbling now, it is excluded from the Game selection. But, like other players in handhelds field, it'll be watched. Once it shows sign of growth, the game can then decide to include it.

I realize it's not your priority right now, but I suggest that you eventually develop some very precise criteria that helps you decide when you add a competitor of a King that is already in your game. The criteria might have as much to do with symptoms of a failing King as symptoms of a rising prince.

As for Jill's idea about MP3, you would need to determine if there is an enabling OS that makes MP3 possible. For all I know (to be more precise, for all I don't know) the MP3 includes the OS. My point is that if it is an OS that you're looking at, you'd be staring down the face of an enabler of a consumer product, something much stronger than a mere applications product. It might be worth looking into. So get cracking! :)
