Oh, so close! :-( Duke won 84-83 in overtime. DePaul had a chance to win at the end, but missed the shot! Duke is just a little bit tough at home - in the same way Michael Jordan was just a little bit good. They had the longest home winning streak in the ACC at 38 (now 39) and were 122-2 against non conference opponents there. DePaul led the entire first 30 minutes, came back from down 6 to tie the game, and had a 3 point lead in the OT. What a great game - which would have been even better if that last shot had gone in. The game left me emotionally drained. DePaul is going to be very good this year.
