Since I can blame you on the whole discussion of monopolies, :) check out the context of that reference on page 111 of the revised manual that sand wedge found. Since you're prone to thinking that Lucent is a King, you might be interested to know that Moore & Gang say Lucent is the gorilla of the aging voice switch market, just as Cisco is the gorilla of the younger and faster growing data switch market.
