Spy--"grand alliance" with our Softbank cousins (or, for that matter, some other outfits) is far more desirable to me than E*Trade being acquired by, say, Goldman Sachs. Let's hope it happens...

CSFB--a change of heart, OR, sudden realization ?

CSFB making positive comments about ETrade (EGRP) and Ameritrade (AMTD) following their presentations at a CSFB conference. CSFB says that both presentations were upbeat and confirm that online trading volumes are soaring in Q4.
