Actually he could probably explain a wall switch better than you or I could! He does have a PhD in Engineering and worked in Nortel (or BNR of old). He isn't a technology retard, he's just trying, like most companies around, to jump on the next wave to keep Corel afloat. He correctly jumped on the Windows, Java and Linux band-wagon. He succeeded on the Windows front, failed miserably on the Java front, but it remains to be seen if he can deliver on the Linux front. The Linux and 'E'-business ventures are highly speculative futures.
