Berney: Well I am not the only one up late tonight. I had to shuttle my wife out to the airport twice tonight for meetings. I just got back a few minutes ago.

If we discount those views that we don't like, we may be lunch, be it Bull or Bear, on the menu.

If you noted both Vitas' and my earlier post, we both agree and encourage discourse from both points of view. It is the manner of that discourse that is out of line on occasion. And with some it is rarely in line.

I am sorry to hear to you took some hits in the market. Since I don't know your circumstances I will not even try to offer anything more than my condolences and wish you the best of luck in the future.

We don't see you often enough on MDA nor do we see the Captain much anymore. Thanks for the contribution!

Off to get some shut eye...

Regards,
LG

Berney, >>>If we discount those views that we don't like, we may be lunch, be it Bull or Bear, on the menu.<<<

no difference - here, I'll say it again:

"There is nothing wrong with questioning another poster's opinion -
or their analysis, and I for one encourage that - it is simply not necessary to be nasty about it."

What we should have been doing mid-October was actively examining
the cold hard evidence for clues as to market direction and potential trend changes, and thoroughly examining the various analysis that
was presented and asking questions.

What we got was a considerable amount of yipee the sky is falling.

The turkeys running around now proclaiming their genius were nowhere
to be found in October.

The political ones, the bulls (or the bears) that are constantly
stuck in one direction are completely useless to market direction analysis.

How much fun did the bulls have in the July - October correction?

Just give me some analysis, so I can examine the case, and maybe I will see something that I had overlooked that will change my mind.

The wise guy stuff is just crap.
