I don't have any more PCI slots available on my ASUS P2B board!.

Sue, if you have a spare ISA slot get an el-cheapo 10MB NIC card
(something to throwaway later), a crossover cable to hook the two,
PCI on one computer, ISA on other computer. Buy.com free shipping weekends are made for cheepies like this<G>.

Not sure about win98 sharing internet. Sygate.com does this
Very well. Free until you transfer 100MB between the two COMPUTERS.
$39.95 license for 3 machines after that.

regards, /jw

Is it possible to share two computers on one cabled modem link with only one NIC card in each computer? I'm asking this because I don't have any more PCI slots available on my ASUS P2B board!.

Sue, I overlooked you have a CABLE Modem This I don't have. Double check me on this. Perhaps I should turn this over to Cable Experts.

ANYONE ?.
