You raise a good point when you mention the operating system patches. There was a CRITICALLY important patch that Microsoft put up that applied to both Win 95 and Win 98 about 6 months ago. This patch made some important fixes to the IP stack. Prior to the patch, if packets arrived out of sequence the stack would overflow, and Netscape would crash. Prior to installing this patch I used to crash and have to reboot approximately 3-5 times per day. Since installing it I very, very rarely crash.

If you are crashing at EXBTV, have you installed this patch? If not, do so, and see if it fixes your problem. It will fix a lot of other problems, too.
