COMPAQ DESKPRO EN SFF P733
Price: $2,679

But this is not only one of the smallest desktop computers ever tested, it is
also one of the fastest. This wolf of a system packs a 733MHz Pentium III
processor, Intel Corp.'s new 820 chipset and 128 Mbytes of 133MHz
Rambus memory.....

In fact, no 600MHz Pentium III ever beat a score of 500, and the last
Compaq mini system tested (a 700MHz Coppermine without the 820 chipset)
scored only 526,a full 100 points lower than this gem.

Re: Let's recalculate...

So, you want to estimate that a system that has had total lifetime shipments of about 70 million after years of sales at a retail price as low as $100, will sell sell 50 million units of its follow on product, in the first year, when its retail price has risen to between $300 and $400?

And you are investing based upon this assumption?
