Aloha, Janice. I've been following the shop talk thread about the midgets and retooling problems for years now. The participants have shown an amazing amount of forbearance and good humor, considering the circumstances. Often the chatters have expressed a desire for more information on the company and I've decided to provide it. You were chosen as conduit because you seem the most serious-minded about the whole thing, although not the least funny!
This info is not something ripe, to be splashed on the Internet just now, as the talking horse might pick it up and misuse it. Since, from reading your mail, you appear to have some security concerns, handle this any way you choose: through a double-blind address, or whatever. I've chosen an obscure way of contacting you for the same reason. Get me a fax number where you want the info to appear, and it will. Use the phone so I'll know it's you. My name is Larry Wirth; phone # is (888) 645-2665, fax # is (808) 553-5380, and e-mail is sbgolfhi@aol.com. Among other things, I'm currently the pres of Stand-by Golf of Hawaii and vp/director of Prize Frize, Inc.

Janice: You, Jeff and Bill must be glad it is finally over. As this whole episode demonstrates, frivolous lawsuits can inflict a great deal of financial and emotional pain. I hope for your sake that HITT's equally silly suit is soon dismissed.

Knowing you are right and having the proof that you are right doesn't help much against a well-financed and vindictive opponent. Draining a defendant of assets, and thus the ability to continue contesting a dispute, seems to have become standard operating procedure.
