Michael, those protesters are mostly upper middle class highly educated people who took time off from their various occupations and traveled to Seattle because they believe, among other things, that your six-year-old will benefit from their demonstrations. In the big picture, they believed that they had to try to make the world a better place for all children, including yours. Categorizing them as "I need a life and cause" people who are simply trying to ruin your own selfish fun denigrates them in a way I believe is unfair. I am sure the Christmas shoppers will be back. The WTO meetings are over, after all.
