Hello Frank,

It's amazing how these forums allow us the opportunity to exchange ideas/thoughts to the very point of learning more than had we not chosen to express them. I relish the thought of learning something new each day :)

You are correct - the dynamics between protocols, applications, standards et al is a very interesting one. I find keeping in tune with the current trends work enough some days :) Experimenting takes on an entirely new perspective on future trends and acceptance.

What truly amazes me is the breadth of companies involved in this space (thin client computing). We generally know and hear about the "bigger" names which leaves me wondering what this means in terms of marketing for lesser known companies.

When we get through all the technical discussions - it comes down to a quote I first heard from my grandfather. "People do business with other whom they feel comfortable with (all other things being equal)".

I have found more resources regarding this topic in the last few days than I have time to read about. Just proof that the web is much more powerful than we tend to give it credit for.
