Herm: Can you share your view for WHAT IS A:
1) MAX. P/E that is acceptable to you (in general) when you give a quick "look-see" at a prospect?
2) MIN. GROWTH % that will make a stock worth further investigation

Your 2 posts , re/ WAG and NSM indicate that you COMPARE THEM to their individual sectors, but obviously, just because an issue is "only" 4% premium for PE over the others does not mean it bodes well. (too high to begin with, I assume?)

And, the GROWTH of "only" 16% (WAG and NSM) does not appear to be remotely close to your requirements (right?)

Once again, you're shining a (much needed) "fundamental" light on the picture for me.

I would appreciate your response to these 2 areas (max p/e min. % growth) so that I don't continue bumbling in the "dark" on prospects that my T/A (by itself) may dig up.
TIA jaytee

P.S. what about PEG as a measuring tool?
