Bobby, I'll only address the POG. As long as the large gold inventory in banks is readily available, POG will remain soft. People really believe that it's different this time, maybe some day it will be? All the past measures for an orderly market have broken down. Somehow computers have changed the formula. I do seem to remember learning that the technology for mass communication was just coming of age before 29, it didn't make any difference then than to suggest that things in the market were different that time. Ready for a replay? We will see if it's different this time. The trouble with investing in gold now is that it could take a very large portion of one's lifetime to see the payoff, however the payoff will occur one day. I find it smarter to just trade the metal moves and use my money invested in paper like everyone else (that's where the money is). However, I hope to be one of the first out when the bad times come. That's still some time away IMO.
