OT, sort of - This ebay ad copy proves a parallel universe: Say you've got this giant de-salinization plant rumbling away. How are you gonna verify the quality of the process without this spiffy, super-deluxe, Foxboro type 915 Conductivity Monitor, what happens to be new in da box, doanchaknow? Come on, how many other sellers even take the time to make sure you are getting the best deals on this stuff? You just haven't seen Wacky, on his hands and knees, crawling through warehouses verily vibrating with rats, slinking around like some kinda drooling bug, pushing boxes with his face; looking in crates filled with all kinds of vile, seeping packages, surging with disease and crazed microbes just waiting for a chance to, once again, be free in the world. Kinda like stock pickin I guess....
