Hi Linda, I must confess i'm completely LapTop illiterate. Would
seem there should be a Mouse Port to plug in a mouse. Maybe take it by computer shop, Mice/Mouse are/is cheep' and comes with a driver. Might be worth checking out.

Gosh, I have no idea. Can't remember if we did that in DOS or not.

Ok, I didn't know so I asked Jeeves. :-) This answer appears to work with Microsoft Word but not with other areas I tried it with.
To copy text do the following:
Highlight the text to copy. With the keyboard hold down the shift key and use the arrows to highlight text. Copy using Ctrl C and paste using Ctrl V.
