QCOM will enter the GSM arena by acquiring Comquest from IBM.
Comquest have been developing GSM chipsets.
NOK now seems favorite for acquiring QCOM's handset division.
NOK are moving into their brand spanking new building in Rancho Bernardo, in San Diego. This facility is around three times larger
than needed to house current Nokia staff. It can easily accomodate the additional heads from the handset division.

When QCOM is a player in GSM, (and GPRS and EDGE) will GSM still be toasty?
