I have an aversion to the taste as I do all sweeteners..I have a gut feeling that my daughter who has MS is a victim..She has improved tremendously since I removed the diet soda etc from her after a lot of years of use. I have a friend who is diabetic and she has a problem with it..It deserves watching..as does Monsanto and all of their Biogenetic Engineering ..as you know there is a safe way and a Destructive way..and Corporations being Cost Effective CVorporations. need to be policed...

Yes, and no. Annnnnd, because of the rumormongering, I went looking and found this - web.mit.edu - and this - vm.cfsan.fda.gov and this - ificinfo.health.org, among the others; I tend toward believing MIT, FDA, and the IFIC. I consume my share of Aspartame, I still talk, type, and form my own opinions. I'm leery of those who claim doctorates in political science and can't spell. I'm leery of those who use "I know, I was there" for substantiation of any allegation they've made that might be questioned. If doctorates are accessible to those with little knowledge of rules of spelling, sentence construction, and general grammar, maybe we should all start working on our theses.
