US T-bonds steady, mood brighter after Japan GDP


0023 GMT -- Prices of U.S. Treasuries little moved in early Tokyo, but overall sentiment seen improved after weaker-than-expected July-Sept GDP data pushed the dollar up above 103 yen.

Japan's July-Sept real GDP fell 1.0 pct quarter-on-quarter compared with median forecast in a Reuters poll predicting a 0.2 percent decline.

July-Sept real GDP was down annualised 3.8 percent.

Treasuries also supported by gains in New York on Friday on market-friendly U.S. November employment report.

The benchmark 30-year Treasury bond at 98-07/32, yielding 6.26 percent, unchanged from late New York on Friday.
