Have not met Emile yet. Why would someone who is anti-jew ( someone is arguing about that word as well )deny it... If I hated something or someone I would not deny it. I hate Roman Catholicism and believe it to be the biggest cult this world has ever seen. Why would I deny that. If he denies it is it not possible that your putting it upon him. Many people have problems understanding what their view should be concerning the Jews. Statements from Paul like this one: Romans 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. They are ( as a nation ) called both enemies and beloved within the same verse. If someone expounds on the first part of the verse they could be seen as anti-semetic while they were merely explaining some deeper things concerning the purposes of God. I know that santiago believes in 'election' could he have possibly missed the place of the Jews in the Plan of God ( Big Picture ) I have a hard time believing that and indeed if I'm wrong forgive me ( I am new on the block ) It would seem to me that a man who understands predestination would be better suited to understand the true place of god having elected the Children of Israel to both suffer because of Him and yet fail in large numbers to be saved. How does Paul "feel" about that ?: Romans 9:3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: Let me tell you a little secret.. I believe Paul meant that as he calls God to witness it's truth... I could wish myself accursed for no one really .. though for my children I have wished it in anger to God only. Paul , who loved the Jews enough to suffer eternal Hell that they may be saved, called them the enemies of Christ's Gospel. Could it be that you are troubled by those things? Look at the place of Jersusalem and the Jews. 1. Appointed to suffer 400 years under Egypt that in God's providence of all whom He called out of her only two would make it into the promised land. 2. Appointed to suffer the loss of Rachel's children slaughtered by the new Egypt even Rome from whom that whore should return. 3. Appointed to reject the Messiah and be blinded so that the Gospel should be shed upon the whole world, Samarians and Gentiles until the fullness thereof. 4. Yet to be loved so much so that even though these things MUST BE yet our Saviour in His humanity could cry for Jerusalem from the depths of a broken heart. Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! Is it a general lumping together of the destiny of Israel as a Nation and Jewish individuals that they may have unwittingly done? Certainly Paul argues that not all Jews are enemies: Romans 11:1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. Romans 11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, Was Elias ( Elijah ) an anti-semite for praying against Israel ? Or David even King David: Romans 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded 8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. 9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: I do not know and admit I do not know if these men are Jew haters I do know that Elijah and David and Paul were men who loved Israel but did not let their love for the Nation blind them to their place before God and His right to do with them as He willed. Do I love Canada ? Not right now. It is a Godless Nation that should be judged for having forsaken Christ and His righteous laws. They have become altogether unprofitable. Parliament is infected with the ungodly. The supreme courts rule against life and against Him who is life itself! Canadians will have little excuse... They as did Israel have received abundant witness. They have lived at ease and cared not that they are in utter rebellion against God and His truth. How about the USA ? Real righteous nation that one... if OIL is involved then human rights are reasons for war... too bad about the persecution of Christians in Sudan just not enough cash involved I guess. If as you say asking Santiago will simply result in a denial then if you will make your charge against him amount to more than mere public accusation ( which is what Christ suffered ) you would need to remind others of posts and statement that He and this Emile had made. You owe me nothing... if you desire to simply put forth the accusation without proof then you stand before Christ alone as to the accuracy thereof. I doubt any retribution will be suffered by Santiago or Emile other than being charged or persecuted whichever the case may be by yourself. I think however the statement I saw concerning " Judaism " was ( IMPO ) meant to appeal to the righteousness of the flesh spoken of in the following verse: Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. If I am wrong again please forgive me but that is how I understood what he had said.
