Jon: Seems like we have the worst of all worlds here - the FCC trying to milk a private company for additional money and the court system in a jurisdictional dispute. And all this is supposed to be in the "public interest"?

What about getting a countrywide wireless wholesale data delivery system up and running? Is preventing and delaying and delaying and delaying ..... the job of the FCC in this case? The FCC's actions re NextWave seem to reflect that as an objective, but I may be wrong.

What amazes me is that this apparent travesty causes only yawns. Whatever happened to outrage over such misadministration and an attitude of blocking progress and attempting to punish or destroy a company? Ah well, just the times in which we live I guess.

But then I may be wrong in the way I see this.

Does anyone wish to explain how the FCC is acting "in the public interest" on this, I may be missing something.

Puzzled.
