Brian;

Good question;

I need to leave and will return later. Just one small note; I am NOT Anti-Christian. I know many sincere Christians. But with that said many hide under the term Christianity and preach falsehoods and hatred. I think you will get a better understanding with regards to Santiago when you hear his reply. And yes he is Anti-Semitic so is his Brother Emile who stated that Israel was set up by satan (the current State of Israel).

Regards

Alan

Brian, that question is probably one of the most pertinent that you could make.

I have stated before that I am not ready to make a statement that God will return the Jews homeland at his Second Coming.

I am considering the full preturist view for many reasons because I know that Christ has fulfilled the prophesy of the destruction of Herod's Temple and the murder and enslavement of thousands of Jews in 70AD.

As you know, after that period, Scripture goes blank. St. Luke had many things that he could have wrote about Paul and Peters execution, and the two witnesses just to name a few things that were undone. Why? Where were the Christians? We know that Christ told them to hide in the mountains and I believe that they survived to whst? Maybe be resurrected?

There never was any real rebuilding in Jerusalem as only a few sects were known to be left.

You see, Alan wants me to come down on his side of the issue. Since I won't, he forcefully puts me against any future physical return of Christ to give the Jews a physical homeland. At this point, I see only Christians celebrating the New Heavenly Jerusalem.

I hope that you can accept that I am not ready to commit to anything definite concerning that.

Santiago

Brian;

Santiago will never give you a direct answer;

Let me give you some insight;THE FOLLOWING IS SANTIAGO'S WORDS (POST'S)

Hello Robert, I had to make a choice between tradition and the Scripture, the choice was easy. Almost every book in the New Testament talks of a "soon" return of Jesus Christ and it is very hard to make 2,000 years "soon" by any hermeneutic. The major issue to me in all of this is the Inspiration of Scripture. Don't let tradition rob you of the precious truths which our Lord taught.
You mentioned laying aside pre-conceived ideas and doctrines. It is not easy to see the truth in Scripture if you are hobbled by ideas that you have been taught and had drilled into you even though you believe you are seeing the truth you do not have the proper foundation to begin with which to base deeper doctrines.

I still have a hard time understanding the concept that we are in the Kingdom age and that satan is not the ruler of this world, especially with the evil that men do.

Emile, Anyone who would deny the truth of your post about the land of Israel belonging to Christ is sadly trying to fulfill a prophesy of error about escatology of the Second Coming. Secondly, they are also looking for an event that has already transpired.
"Who is a true Jew? Is it ethnic background that makes you a Jew? NO! Many people today still consider the Jewish people as a race but there is no Jewish race today After the destruction of Jerusalem, the nation of Israel, after the flesh, was scattered throughout the earth, and lost all tribal relations. This scattering was made immutable due to the fact that all tribal genealogical records were destroyed with the Temple in A.D. 70. The simple fact is that there is no existing Jewish race. Consider the following quotation from

The Second Coming was prophesied to happen in occurance with the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD.
The Olivet discourse definitely points to the conclusion that Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 were all fulfilled by A.D. 70.

First, when Jesus? disciples asked Him, ?What is the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?? (Matt. 24:3), they must have had in mind the destruction of the temple; Jesus had just told them that the temple was going to be completely destroyed (Matthew 24:2). For the disciples, the destruction of the Holy Temple would have been viewed as nothing less than a massive upheaval or end of their entire religious/political world. So it?s not surprising they would connect the destruction of the temple with the final coming of the King and with the end of the age (cf. Isa. 66:6).

Bruce, I will explain in more detail so that there is no confusion. Simply put a Preturist believes that all or most prophesy has already been fulfilled while the futurist still sees the Second Coming as not fulfilled.
There are many verses throughout the New Testament that indicates that Jesus and the Apostles taught that the Second Coming of Christ would be in their lifetime.

You see Santiago believes Christ already returned. Israel to him is satanic. You need to go back and read some of his posts.

Now tell me he is NOT ANTI-SEMITIC

His theology I DO NOT AGREE WITH. That's OK it's how he DAMAGES a CULTURE WITH LIES that bother me (the Jewish people)not to mention to THINK THIS IS GOD'S KINGDOM that is what he is saying;
