they've kept this case alive in an extremely hostile environment and have made continual progress. Litigating against a government is never easy and takes time.

And the company is not alone in thinking it would not serve our best interest to have the shareholders acting as amateur self appointed press agents. Publishing stories of a potential multi billion judgement could have negative consequences. It would most certainly energize resistance from the environmental lobby. The appearance of pressure tactics could also make the government more resistant to settling this. We are best served keeping this in the legal environment where we can make steady progress, even if it is slow.
