Yep. Very quiet. Since the SI Bob post brought Feelies back to its senses, the action has mostly moved back over there.

Hey, Freddy,
I've had a very sick child (even at 16 when they're sick, they're babies again). ANd a busy rehearsal schedule, so yup for me, it's mostly real life interfering. BUt I think also, that the negativity of the last couple of weeks sort of affected all of us here. DAR is based on trust, and safety, and relationships. Several of us have a real problem when those things are violated. My guess is we're laying low for a bit until we feel "safe" again. The people who were here merely avoiding Feelings or then following and trying to make trouble are back there, mingling happily, but our older inhabitants --well, we all took to the hills when under attack. Re: Feelings--CGB is back, which is wonderful and really helping.
So the answer is yes no I dunno.
I was up all night holding Ammo's head. He was soooo sick. Around 3, I came downstairs to throw some soiled things in the laundry room, and stepped right in the middle of something soft and warm and gross.
In our house that could be a wide variety of things, as you know. I screamed and hopped to the lightswitch.
All over the living room were little piles. Tesh had caught whatever Ammo had, I guess. His head I would NOT hold over the toilet bowl, unless it was with the purpose of flushing him down it. I threw his nasty little catbody out. He was mad. He was hungry. He wanted food, damnit. This morning he rushed in, raced to his bowl, ate a huge amount of catfood. Then he marched under the dining room table and threw it all up on the Oriental rug. So I threw his nasty empty little catbody out again. This has gone on all day.
Ammo has finally managed to hold down some AllSport, and is asleep.
I am doing laundry and waiting to start throwing up. I'm so tired I just hope I don't get confused and do it under the dining room table. I doubt Tesh will clean it up. He is really mad at me because I hid his cat bowl.

I don't like it when DAR is so quiet either.

It's not that I got a life or anything so positive-sounding. Though I do hope to get one one of these days, of course. It's just that the amount I am supposed to be doing and am not doing when I'm on SI reached critical guilt-mass.

When a lot of people are posting, I get confused and think there is a party, so we are all supposed to be stopping getting the things on our lists done, me included, naturally.

I was just looking (so far unsuccessfully) for how you say "liars" in classical Greek, and stumbled on this page

go.com

which is irrelevant to translating but was linked to from a useless translation page. And look what is Today's Cool Site! -- hungersite.com!

Also, when Michael Cunningham first called this site to my attention

saverainforest.com

each time you clicked made a corporate sponsor buy up 5 square feet of rainforest. Then it went up to 7.5 feet, and today, for the first time, it's up to 10 square feet....
