Thanks for your post, raymund. I'd like to clarify it some, if you don't mind. Discover was recommended to me. Do you think that is worth my looking into? <Divide and conquer, so many ecn's and marker makers, over 300. I appreciate that. <However the positives outweigh the negatives in comparison to others imo> Well, so far I am beginning to think that Schwab may be the best among the 3 online brokerages I use, despite the higher commissions. I'm going to start using it for some higher share trades to see how Schwab executes them. (So far I've used it for my lower share trades to keep the commissions low.) Scwab is a market maker, are they not? While etrade operates like Datek, correct? Tia for your input. Rob
