Even the huge slide in the euro hasn't helped gold

Phil it is the US dollar that needs to take a slide and today it is sliding rather nicely against the Euro. I am also of the camp that see's inflation on the rise, despite US government numbers that are continuosly massaged.

Is it time to be a contrarian I don't know, but the ludicrous levels of the US markets gives comfort to the thought. What's a greenspan to do >g< with inflation on the rise and an incredible expanding bubble.

Odds are the millenium will have a different look. Timely announcement by the Dutch today of a 100 tonnes sale next year. Funny this is part of the 2000 tonne limit over 5yrs announced by the Euro central bankers that sent Gold rocketing forward a bit ago.
