RE: Rambus memory pricing. Actually, about four times as much for Rambus as compared to SDRAM when purchased from Dell. Checking the Dell website, I can upgrade a Dell Dimension from 128MB of SDRAM to 256MB for $223. Upgrading a Rambus equipped machine from 128MB to 256MB costs an additional $999!!! You can buy an entire decent computer for the kids with the cost of that upgrade... <ggg>
