Last night I viewed an infomercial for Philips and TIVO. Seemed to do just about everything I've read including VCR+ capabilities. Is TIVO a licensed by GMST?

The box from TIVO was menu driven with a cable to your existing telephone line for early AM polling. It would recognize your viewing habits and automatically record programs that were in your preference category. It was capable of recording 16 hours of programming or 30 hours for the expanded version. The box cost $499 for the basic 16 hour model and $9.95 per month or a one time life subscription of $179.(special intro rate) It did not state the price for the 30 hour model.

It was late and memory is kind of fuzzy, buy has anyone viewed this and how does it play into GMST?

TIA. Dutch
