Sympathy play with MSPG, buying GEEK, 10 3/8, 5/8,3/4. It's resting on only a few ticks above 52 wk low of 9 1/8. Float is only 3.1M, 52 wk high 61. Among the ISP sympathy plays, it looks like GEEK would have the highest upside potential.

BRIEF: Internet America, Inc. is an Internet service
provider that provides an array of Internet services
tailored to meet the needs of both individual and business
subscribers, with approx. 105K subscribers (as of 9/99) in
the southwestern U.S. For the 3 months ended 9/30/99,
revenues rose 41% to $5.8M. Net loss totalled $1.6M, up
from $191K. Results reflect an increase in the number of
dial-up subscribers, offset by increased advertising costs.

nternet America encourages Web users to be square by
promoting its services with a 1-800-BE-A-GEEK sign-up
number. The company offers a package that includes
unlimited Web access in addition to e-mail, Internet relay
chat, file transfer protocol, and news access. Other services
include multiple e-mail mailboxes and personal Web sites.
Its 50,000 customers (primarily individual users) are
concentrated in North Texas. The company's Airnews.net,
which is included in its dial-up access package or can be
purchased separately by other customers, offers access to
millions of news articles and serves about 3,800 customers
in 35 countries. Chairman William Hunt owns about 19% of
the company.
