Heinz...thanks for the great link...

if I read it correctly, historically the fed will add money supply to the market at this time of the year, and with the Y2K issue at hand, more so this year than others. Come Jan. is a time when reserves are historically drained.

If this is the case, why is this a bigger deal this year than others? It's should be standard for the Fed to pull some of that liquidity off the table next year, n'est pas?
