agreed, sector. that's why this thread is so good. i can handle much of the legwork, but you and others are able to cut through much of the technical jargon and help a non-technical person, such as myself, have a clear understanding of the products and R&D at MRV. in today's day and age, it's almost impossible to rely soley on analysts for a complete understanding of technology. i mean, look at 2 of the 3 analysts following MRV... they should be fired for incompetance. not that i've never been wrong, but they aren't just right or wrong, they're apathetic. they haven't done any real research. i'll say that VCKO has done their research and a very thorough job. hope it continues. greg
