T vertically uniform from phone, to cablemodem, to metro wireless, to home wireless, to desktop wireless. The pieces are laying around. All they need is a reason and a common driver ... together they penetrate much faster than alone. Open access on the cable is a moot issue ... the REAL issue goes much deeper ... cable is not the "medium" ... cable is just a part of the overall framework 2-3 years out. The real "medium" is the yet to be fully envisioned pervasive walk-about network.
