MM,

I do not agree that Mason as a successful record if you look at his total years at Kansas and Minnesota.

Cooper has proven that he can coach winning teams. Joe and I have run into Ohio State alumna during our weekend travels to Big Ten Penn State games. We end up staying in motels were they stay going to and from the Big Ten Ohio State games. The Ohio State alumna seem to be happy with Cooper. This year we talked to a bunch of Ohio State alumna during our trip to Purdue when they were returning from Minnesota. These alumna were happy with Cooper and felt good that his new contract was taking care of the academic excellence of the Ohio State team. <ggg>

BTW, Cooper is much better today than we was his first few years at Ohio State with strange things coming out of his mouth.

I don't know what is going to happen with the Big Ten, but I hope these schools try and keep a tradition of excellence and work hard on finding athletes that do well in academics.

BTW, three years ago the PSU President set a goal for the athletic department to become number one in the Sears award. Last year we were number 3. I wonder if we will make number 3 this year!!!!
