Terry, having spent about ten years in Southern Africa i know a thing or two about violence. i was in NYC in '89 and wandered up from 110th street (northern boundary of Central Park) and i thought, what a peaceful place this is....although i guess for an industrialized nation it actually isn't. Austria is about as tranquil as it gets, although we are suffering lately from an influx of violent criminals from the east...they are a lot less gentleman-like than our homegrown gangsters.
