Peter, my tivo unit doesn't have a cd port. Nor is it IE1394 or HDTV compliant. Furthermore, TiVo has yet to incorporate the established copyright recording technology. This product was rushed to the market IMO. Why would anyone purchase a self-proclaimed next-gen product that offers little, if any, future spec compatability? Read the small print carefully as the 'lifetime' subscription (if purchased) is for the life of the product and not of the subscriber. And why is this product warranteed for just 90 days? Regards Stew
