Large stock positions from Value Line... Value Line picked up coverage of ICGE on 12/3. They list the shares owned (large positions) as of 9/30/99: VERT 12.5 mill. ATHM 7.6 mill. BWAY 6.9 mill. LCOS 1.9 mill. USIT .5 mill. "...The company has investments-mostly minority stakes-in about 40 different businesses. Only five are majority-own- ed, and are, therefore, the only ones to be consolidated in ICG's financial statements. As such, reported sales and earnings are not (and may never be) meaningful and conse- quently have little, if any, effect on the stock." Hope this helps.
