Those high price of entry IPOs keep out the riff raff <G>. I suspect that most of the people who are posting to the SI Softbank Board might be able to swing the Internet Research Institute IPO (with the exception of Netconductor) <G>. I agree that we need wider spread ownership of Softbank and these other IPOs to really solidify the position of Softbank. Not just for the American market (eventually) but for the Japanese retail stock investor also. Everyone is anticipating the emergence of the Japanese retail stock investor over the next few years. I understand that even the Scudder Japan Fund now has a version of their fund for the Japanese market. In the case of the mutual funds, the per share prices are irrelavent. But I do agree that entry cost to invest in these Softbank vehicles should come down drastically.
