Edwin,

I understand where you are coming from on this and respect both your point of view and your effort.

As I have said in the past I think your proposal regarding a "delay in drilling" compromise is an interesting idea and well worth consideration.

My comments were directed more towards several comments from different posters about their perception that there is a need to publicize this issue. I have no philosophical disagreement with publicity. My concern comes from my feeling that this must absolutely be done only in conjunction with the company. The company, for better or worse, must be in control of our efforts to resolve this issue. My concern is that in acting without their support we would run a risk of acting at cross purposes. As a hypothetical, what if they are negotiating a settlement? If we generate publicity for this issue at the wrong time we run the risk of it being perceived as an effort by the company to pressure the state and might cause them to back away. Negotiations of this sort would be extremely delicate. I understand the frustration with a lack of info and a sense we are moving forward. But we all knew what kind of investment CCO was when we got involved. Again this is just my opinion and reasonable adults can disagree.

As far as generating a near term price rise you have already anticipated my response :) To me it is irrelevant. I have been in CCO for a couple of years and have not traded around my position. My only interest is the final result. So price action along the way doesn't concern me all that much. I'm interested in the final result only. I understand others may disagree.
