HAMILTON, Bermuda, Dec 21 (Reuters) - 3Dlabs Inc. Ltd.
(NasdaqNM:TDDD - news), said on Tuesday it had sold a
$7.5 million convertible subordinated note due 2004 to chip
maker Intel Corp. (NasdaqNM:INTC - news).

3Dlabs, which makes computer equipment and software used by graphic design
professionals, said that if Intel converts the note, 3Dlabs would issue up to
approximately 1.3 million shares of 3Dlabs common stock to Intel. Intel has been a
shareholder in 3Dlabs since 1996, 3Dlabs said.

The share price of 3Dlabs was up 1-15/32 at 5-19/32 in trade on the Nasdaq stock
market.

The companies also entered into a license agreement in which Intel has licensed 3Dlabs'
portfolio of patents for use in certain markets. Terms of this agreement were not
disclosed, 3Dlabs said.

''The licensing of our intellectual property outside our core professional graphics
business is part of our growth strategy,'' Osman Kent, president and chief executive of
3Dlabs, said in a statement.

I tried to short this POS at 7, but Datek did not have any borrowed shares, and my Fidelity account was not allowing me to touch this POS. I guess everybody & their brothers, including Osman, himself, were shorting the shit out of it. Back to $3 in no time at all. Damn, damn, damn. Shorting this POS, and NAVR is always a sure thing. The two management of these companies can screw up a wet dream!!!
