ACTV files to offer $115 mln in stock

WASHINGTON, Dec 6 (Reuters) - Digital media company ACTV Inc. filed on Monday to offer $115 million of its common stock in order to repay debt and for general corporate purposes, including working capital.

The New York City-based company, whose technologies let television programmers and advertisers create individualized programming for digital TV, disclosed the offering in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

ACTV did not say in the filing how many shares are in the offering.

The underwriters are Credit Suisse First Boston, Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers and Salomon Smith Barney.

ACTV shares are down 3/16 to 24-1/4 in afternoon Nasdaq trading.
