Yes, you can. By all means, do. I'm not trying to tell you what to do. Just friendly advise. As for how they treat temps, I guess that is a matter of opinion too. But hardly a reason to short a stock. I know an individual who called Q a "software sweatshop" about 2 years ago. He was mad that he wasn't hired. If he had bought Q stock, he'd be retired by now. If he had shorted it, well, you know.

>PBS aired a program yesterday on national television in which a QCOM representative admitted that on at least one occasion hundreds of temps were called to a meeting and then told they were all going to be processed out immediately and they were!<

If that is the same program I saw about a year ago, it is old news. A real tear jerker. I've been a temp many times, and I also know that every day is uncertain. To expect anything else is unrealistic, and in the least, denial of reality. To harbor resentment and ill feelings is a personal axe to grind, not Q's.

It is a difference of opinion. To which I will spare the thread any more comments. I appreciate your point of view, and hope all works out. It is "what makes the market".

Oh my God!, temps being dismissed!

BTW, What does temp mean?

Very funny...as if shorting a stock is an equivocal immoral act that needs to be justified by looking at a company's employment policies????!?!?!?!?!?! NOT!

ROFLMAO
